Trevor Popkin

Trevor Popkin joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District as the Regulatory Chief in October 2022.  He has served for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for over 15 years, with experience in Operations, Project Management, and Regulatory for both the Rock Island and Mobile Districts. Trevor’s experience includes serving as the Eastern Branch Chief, Rock Island District, IRT Chair for Mitigation Banks throughout the State of Iowa, leading the redevelopment of the Illinois Stream Mitigation Method, and serving as the program facilitator for the National Regulatory Strong Leaders Program. Trevor has previously deployed as a Blue Room Mission QA Supervisor to Puerto Rico in 2017, in support of Hurricane Maria recovery operations. He has served as a USACE PROSPECT Teaching Cadre as a Regulatory Instructor.  Trevor double majored at Western Illinois University and possesses a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Biology and in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA).
