Real Estate Systems National Center

The mission of the Real Estate Systems National Center (RESNC) is to support and enable the Real Estate business processes to perform effectively and efficiently with automation tools and knowledge management resources that meet and exceed industry standards.

The RESNC oversees all of the operational computer information technology (IT) support for the successful operation of Real Estate business processes to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Real Estate community, including Headquarters, major subordinate commands, U.S. Army Engineer Districts, and the Real Estate Configuration Management Board and User Group Control Configuration Boards.

As a forward operating element of Headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the RESNC serves as the Program Executive Office (PEO) of Real Estate Automated Information Systems (AIS) for the Headquarters of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Real Estate Directorate, and is located at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.

Objectives

  • Lead the Real Estate community in the definition, management, and prioritization of business requirements associated to Real Estate AIS.
  • Enable Real Estate business requirements through AIS implementation from a district operations level and with a corporate perspective.
  • Participate in the facilitation of interface and integration of Real Estate requirements with all other corporate information systems and modernization efforts at the USACE HQs, the Army HQs, and DoD levels & Federal government initiatives.
  • Sustain and deliver Real Estate AIS training.
  • Provide technical advice and documentation support for responding to formal USACE HQs, Army HQs, or DoD directives. 
  • Advises the USACE HQs Real Estate Program (Domain) Level Managers on all matters related to Life Cycle Management of Real Estate Information Systems.
  • Represent the USACE HQs Real Estate Program functional proponent, as requested, in forums addressing Real Estate AIS initiatives related to Real Estate business processes.
  • Provide final validation and acceptance related to the system implementation of business requirements.
