Carlos Williams

Mr. Carlos Williams is a Native of Natchez, MS. He began his military career when he enlisted in the Mississippi Army National Guard, on October 10, 1994. He attended Army Combat Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK and after serving 6 years as an enlisted soldier he joined Jackson State University ROTC program where he graduated and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the branch of Aviation in May of 2003.


In 2007 he attended Fort Lee, Virginia and was branched Logistics and from there he completed the Army Support Operations Course, the Army Senior Transportation Officer Course and the HAZMAT Course at the MSARNG Professional Education Center in Little Rock, AR.


Mr. Williams’s formal military education includes, the Army Aviation Qualification Course, Army Aviation Of f icer Basic Course, the Quartermaster Captain’s Career Course, the Army Senior Transportation Officer Course, the Army Support Operations Course, Ammo 62 Hazmat Course, Command and General Staff Course to include Intermediate Level CGSC (ILE) and the Advanced Operations Course (AOC).


Mr. Williams’s civilian education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Grantham, University in Lenexa, KS.


Carlos Williams currently works full time as a dual status military technician for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG) G4 Transportation Office as the Defense Movement Coordinator (DMC) for Joint Forces Headquarters in Jackson, MS. He has also served in this office as the Logistics Management Officer (LMO) and as the Administrative Officer. He currently resides in Byram, MS with his wife Shinika, and their kids Ashley, Langston (Deceased), Jacolbie, and Caden.
