Jason B. Krick, P.E.

Mr. Jason B. Krick serves as Chief of the Engineering Division for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, a position he has held since June 2019. He leads a multidisciplinary team of 185 professionals supporting the District’s Military Construction, Civil Works, HTRW (Hazardous, Toxic, and Radiological Waste), and Support for Others programs.

Mr. Krick began his USACE career in 2000 as a Student Trainee and has since held a series of progressively responsible roles, including Geotechnical Design Engineer, Civil Works Engineering Technical Lead, Section Chief, and Branch Chief for Geotechnical, Environmental, and HTRW.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama and a Master of Science in Risk Management from Notre Dame of Maryland University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama and holds Facility Engineer Level III certification.

Mr. Krick leads multiple USACE Technical Centers of Expertise (TCX), including Subsurface Exploration, Water/Wastewater, and Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Control. He also serves as the District’s Dam and Levee Safety Officer, responsible for the oversight and safety of 28 dams and 7 levee systems. His recognized expertise in risk management and communication has positioned him as a leader in operational risk across the District.

Mr. Krick’s awards include multiple Commander’s Awards for Civilian Service, the 2015 Young Engineer of the Year by the Mobile Area Council of Engineers, and the Mobile District’s 2016 Supervisor of the Year.

Jason and his wife Laci moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1998. They are the proud parents of four girls, Emma , Claire , Olivia, and Sophia.
