  • Okaloosa County, Florida Coastal Storm Risk Management Study Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment

The Tentatively Selected Plan (TSP) (i.e. proposed action) is Alternative 2 which consists of berm and dune nourishment to stabilize or restore eroded shoreline of Okaloosa County to reduce the risk of damage caused by wind-generated and tide-generated waves and currents. Restoring the beach-dune system allows greater stability and sustainability of the coastal environment once it has become re-established.
