    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division hosted a delegation for the Qatar Emiri Corps of Engineers (QECE) at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, June 9.

    ERDC & Mobile Team to Recruit Citizen Scientists in Gulf Shores

    As part of gaining new citizen scientists, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), along with the Mobile District took part in a SandSnap presentation at the Thomas B. Norton Library in Gulf Shores, Alabama, to encourage kids to take part in the SandSnap project when they go to the beach.

  • Army Civil Works announces publication of policy initiatives to modernize the Corps’ Civil Works program

    The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works announced a series of priority policy initiatives to modernize the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Civil Works program. An outreach campaign, with public and tribal virtual meetings, will be conducted in June and July to gather input to inform future potential policy decision-making related to a number of related initiatives, and written comments will be gathered in a public docket in the Federal Register over a 60-day comment period.
