MOBILE, Alabama – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway project site announces the winter season closure of the Town Creek Campground in Clay County, Miss., starting on November 4, 2018.
The park will reopen on February 18, 2019.
Town Creek Campground is located off Highway 50 on Columbus Lake in Clay County, Miss.
As an alternate location, the Corps will maintain open the DeWayne Hayes Campground during the winter season. DeWayne Hayes Campground is located directly across the lake from the Town Creek Campground and is located at 7934 Barton Ferry Road in Columbus, Miss.
