MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, announced today that select recreational Day Use areas at the Carters Lake Project site have closed due to high waters impacting the region.
The Day Use areas affected by this closure are:
- Woodring Branch
- Doll Mountain
- Damsite
- Re-Regulation North
- Re-Regulation South
These areas will remain closed until waters recede and debris is removed. Northbank and Ridgeway Day Use areas currently remain open to the public.
