Many US Army Corps of Engineers recreation areas, including day use parks and boat launching facilities (not including campgrounds) charge a daily fee of $5.00 per passenger vehicle, including single vehicles at boat ramps. Annual passes for those recreation areas are available at the Project Management Office and some day use parks for $40.00.
Holders of an America the Beautiful Interagency Annual, Interagency Senior Pass, Interagency Access Pass, Interagency Military Pass, Interagency Volunteer Pass, Every Kid in a Park Pass, and Golden Age Passport or Golden Access Passport may utilize day use areas nationwide, for no fee, provided the owner of the pass is present, at the following participating agencies: US Army Corps of Engineers; National Park Service; USDA Forest Service; Bureau of Land Management; Bureau of Reclamation; and US Fish & Wildlife Service.
US Army Corps of Engineers Annual passes and the Interagency Annual Pass, Interagency Military Pass, and Interagency Volunteer Pass are valid for one calendar year from the month they are purchased or issued. For example, a pass purchased or issued in February 2016 will be valid through the end of February 2017.
The above passes allow entry to US Army Corps of Engineers operated day use areas and boat launching ramps but do not allow entry to campgrounds. All passes are hangtags that must be displayed from the rearview mirror while in the area.
