America the Beautiful –
the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass
 

General Information:

    As of January 1, 2016, the US Army Corps of Engineers will be among five other Federal agencies selling, issuing and honoring the
America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes.  These passes will allow entry into day use parks
operated by any of the six Federal agencies listed below for no additional fee, nationwide!

 

The participating Federal agencies are:

  • Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
  • Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation)
  • US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
  • USDA Forest Service (USDA FS)
  • U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS)
  • National Park Service (NPS)

        NOTE:  The passes cover day use fees (entrance fees or standard amenity fees) ONLY. They do not cover parking fees which may
be charged by some Federal agencies or extended amenity fees (ie. camping fees, tours, etc).

 The Interagency passes that are available for purchase or issue are:                                                                                     

  • Interagency Annual Pass – Available to anyone
  • Interagency Senior Pass – Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident age 62 and over
  • Interagency Access Pass – Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a medically determined permanent disability
  • Interagency Military Pass – Must be a current U.S. military member or dependent. (Not issued to retirees or veterans)
  • Interagency Military Lifetime Pass – Must be a Gold Star Family or U.S. military veteran
  • Interagency Volunteer Pass – Must complete 250 documented volunteer hours at parks managed by any of the above six agencies
  • Every Kid in a Park 4th Grade Pass – Available to all current 4th grade students

Purchase:

 

 

    Passes may be purchased at any of the sites operated by the Federal agencies listed above which charge day use fees and are staffed by a fee
collection attendant.  The Interagency Annual Pass and Interagency Senior Pass may be purchased online from the US Geological Survey (USGS)
at http://store.usgs.gov.  The application for the Interagency Access Pass may be printed at the USGS Store.
