As the closing of the 2016 fiscal year for the U.S. Government drew near, so did retirement for one of its dedicated employee. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District (SAM) hosted a retirement ceremony for Willie Key of the USACE Logistics Activity on Sept. 29 here in Historical Downtown Mobile. Key's ULA coworkers and family surrounded him in support and love as he retired after 37 years of selfless service to the Nation.
On behalf of Commander, Maj. Gen. Michael C.Wehr, Mississippi Valley Division (MVD), Key was presented with a plaque, coin and retirement award by Deputy Commander, Lt. Col. Landon Raby, Mobile District.
Key was also presented the Regimental Quartermaster award by Deputy Director Reginald King, ULA. "Key and his family were overwhelmed with the recognition and thoughtfulness," said King.
