Wrapping up #WomensHistoryMonth, the Equal Employment Opportunity Office hosted the Trailblazers Walk-A-Thon today at the Mobile District Headquarters. The walk was lead by Jihad Irby, 5 Star Fitness trainer, who shared his top two health tips. "1. Spend 4% of your day doing some activity like sit-ups or walking," said Irby. "2. As often as you can drink plenty of water." Promoting health and wellness is essential to the improvement of individual and unit readiness and performance. Group training such as the walk supports and encourages others to pursue wellness in all aspects of a person's life, such as: social, physical, emotional, occupational, intellectual, and spiritual.
