There are many opportunities to volunteer at the Black Warrior & Tombigbee Lakes (BW&T) and at Corps of Engineers projects across the nation. Not only is volunteering a great way to give back to the community, but it also helps keep our nation’s parks clean.
Park Host opportunities include a free campsite with 50 AMP electrical hookups, water and sewer, if available. Our campgrounds are small and very diverse in scenery. We welcome all interested campers to come by for a visit and see what exciting opportunities we have to offer or call (334) 289-3540 for more details.
Throughout the year the BW&T Project Office hosts several volunteer events including National Public Lands Day; Feathers, Fins and Fur Youth Weekend; Demopolis Lake Renew Our Rivers; Bankhead Lake Renew Our Rivers; and Holt Lake Renew Our Rivers. To volunteer for one of these events or at any other time of the year contact the Demopolis Site Office at (334) 289-3540 or the Holt Resource Offices at (205) 553-9373.
