West Point Project Announces 2021 Campground Fees and Operation Dates

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, West Point Project, announces
campground fees and operation dates for 2021. These fees will be effective for all campsite reservation
dates beginning January 1, 2021.
2021 Campsite Fees:
Single Primitive Sites: $20.00
Single Water and 30/50 amp Electric Sites: $30.00
Double Water and 30/50 amp Electric Sites: $60.00
Kee Kee Group Camp in Holiday Campground: $250.00
Running Deer Group Camp in Holiday Campground: $230.00
2021 Campground Operation Dates:
R. Shaefer Heard Campground: Sites 1-54 open year round. Sites 55-117 open March 12, 2021 and
remain open all year.
Whitetail Ridge Campground: March 5, 2021 – October 31, 2021
Holiday Campground: March 19, 2021 – September 7, 2021
Amity Campground April 2, 2021 – September 7, 2021
To reserve a campsite at U.S. Army Corps of Engineers managed campgrounds on West Point Project,
visit www.recreation.gov online or by mobile app. Reservations may also be made by calling 877-444-
6777 from 10:00 a.m. to midnight daily. Individual campsites can be reserved 6 months in advance and
group camp areas 12 months in advance of your intended stay.
