ACT River Basin Record of Decision Signed by Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works

MOBILE, Ala. – A Record of Decision was signed by the Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works as part of the Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa (ACT) River Basin – Allatoona Lake Water Supply Storage Reallocation Study and Updates to Weiss and Logan Martin Reservoirs Project Water Control Manuals on Aug. 27.

The decision by Jaime A. Pinkham, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, approved a reallocation of 14,159 acre feet of storage from the conservation pool at Allatoona Lake. The selected plan also approves changes to flood operations and winter pool levels at Alabama Power Company’s Weiss and Logan Martin Projects.
