USACE TO HOST DISABLED HUNTERS AT ALLATOONA LAKE FOR ARCHERY DEER HUNT

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) - Allatoona Lake Operations Project Management Office announced today that an archery-only deer hunt for disabled sportsmen will take place December 12, 2020. 

The use of each hunting blind will be by reservation only and will be limited to hunters permanently confined to a wheelchair or Purple Heart recipients.  A non-hunting assistant may accompany each disabled hunter.  Each hunter must possess a valid Georgia Big Game license.

Requests for reservations will be taken by phone Monday through Friday beginning 8:00 am November 9th, 2020 until 12:00 pm on November 16, 2020.  The available spaces will be filled by lottery.
