MOBILE, Ala. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District in Bay Springs, Mississippi announces camping season at Piney Grove Campground, Bay Springs Lake, and Whitten Campground, Fulton, Mississippi, will begin March 1, 2020, with all sites reservable.
Reservations must be made at least two days in advance when using www.recreation.gov or calling 1-877-444-6777 to make a reservation. Campers, however, may still visit a gatehouse to make a reservation up to the day of, pending availability.
Debit/credit cards will be the only accepted method of payment. Cash and checks will not be accepted.
Additional details are as follows:
Piney Grove Campground: Sites 5, 55-79 and 128 will be available for reservations for the 2020 camping season beginning March 1, 2020.
Whitten Campground: Sites 1-3, 7-9, 12-14, 20-23, 27, 28, 34-37, 41B, 42, 43 and 52-56 will be available for reservations for the 2020 camping season beginning March 1, 2020.
