The Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers join in the lake, before flowing from the Jim Woodruff Lock and Dam, as the Apalachicola River. The 37,500 acre lake and more than 22,000 acres of surrounding land provide excellent recreational opportunities for boating, camping, hunting, and world-class fishing.
