MOBILE, Ala. -- The Mobile District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today it will extend the agency comment period an additional seven (7) days for the Mobile Harbor Integrated Final General Evaluation Report (GRR) with Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS), Mobile County, Alabama. The agency comment period closing date is now extended to Monday, June 17, 2019.
"We've received several requests from organizations interested in Mobile Harbor asking to extend the agency comment period, so that they can provide more insightful input" Cesar Yabor, Chief of Public Affairs said. “In response, Mobile District extended the agency comment period an additional week.”
The official notice identifying the agency comment period extension will appear in the Federal Register on June 7, 2019, and follows the initial Federal Register notice published on May 10, 2019.
