MOBILE, Ala. – Due to Tropical Storm Gordon, the public meeting concerning the Mobile Harbor Draft General Reevaluation Report with Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (Draft GRR/SEIS) previously scheduled for Sept. 6, 2018 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Mobile Convention Center, located at 1 South Water Street in downtown Mobile.
The official Public Comment period concerning the Draft GRR/SEIS has also been extended. All written comments may now be received by the Mobile District before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17. Comments may be submitted by mail, facsimile, or electronic mail to:

Any person with an interest in the proposed harbor improvements is welcome to attend the public meeting. This event is an opportunity to provide the public with information on the tentatively scheduled plan identified in the Mobile Harbor Draft GRR/SEIS released for public comment on July 27. Members of the project team will be on hand with graphical displays to discuss preliminary study results and to answer questions related to the proposed project.
