North and South Re-Reg Parks Closed

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Carter’s Lake North and South re-regulation parks are currently closed until further notice due to damages caused by yesterday’s high-water levels after a spillage gate malfunction.

USACE staff are assessing the extent of the damage and will notify the public on future opening dates.

For immediate assistance regarding the flooding caused by flooding from yesterday’s incident, please contact the Carter’s Lake Project Management Office at (706) 334-2248.
