New Hunting Permit System at Allatoona Lake Project

MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project Office at Allatoona Lake wishes to announce the new hunting permit system, online special use hunting permits will be available beginning May 2, 2022.  

The permits will be available on Recreation.gov at https://www.recreation.gov/permits/5161616. Permit fee is $20.00 with 400 hunting permits being issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Persons requesting a Allatoona Lake Hunting Permit must provide their name, mailing address, telephone number, email, and state hunting license number.

All hunters are encouraged to create an account on Recreation.gov in advance of May 2, 2022. Each Recreation.gov account holder may purchase up to one permit to include their name, phone number, email, and state hunting license number. The permits must be purchased online. The permit will be valid from September 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023.
