BWT Lakes Demopolis and Holt to Continue User Fee Program

MOBILE, Ala. – The Black Warrior-Tombigbee Lakes at Demopolis and Holt will continue utilizing the “Pay before you come” user fee program at the following locations:

            Belmont

            Burchfield Branch Park

            Deerlick Creek Park

            Finches Ferry

            Forkland Boat Ramp

            Foscue Boat Ramp

            Jennings Ferry Boat Ramp

            Lenoir Landing

            Lock 5

            Lock 6

            Lock 8

            Mill Creek Boat Ramp

            Old Lock 15 Boat Ramp

            Rock Quarry Boat Ramp

            Rocky Branch Park

            Runaway

            Service Park

            Spillway Falls Boat Ramp

Visitors will be required to make advanced purchase through www.recreation.gov

The “Pay before you come” pilot program that began on Oct. 1, 2021, has proven to be a success. It will continue as our only method for collecting Day Use and Boat Launch Fees (Activity Passes).

Daily Activity Passes may be purchased for $5, these passes authorize use of boat launch, day use or beach areas that require day use fees.

Yearly Activity Pass/Annual Day Use Pass may be purchased for $40. Once the yearly pass has been purchased online, your receipt with park purchased under, reservation number will need to be validated in exchange for a placard hang tag Annual Pass within 14 days of purchase. We do not accept any form of payment on site, all payment must be made through www.recreation.gov .

While visiting USACE recreation areas visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing and other COVID-19 safety precautions required and recommended by local, state and federal authorities.
