The Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 08-01, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, will conduct a free boating safety course at West Point Lake, May 12. The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST and will provide information on legal requirements, navigation rules, preventing personal watercraft and boating accidents, and new boating laws.
