CHATTAHOOCHEE, Fl. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is sharing an update on the status of recreation areas at Lake Seminole.
Four recreation areas are currently open to the public: Lower Pool Park, Reynoldsville Landing, Cypress Pond Landing, and Desser Landing. Additional USACE-operated recreation areas remain temporarily closed as the Lake Seminole Project continues to receive the necessary funding under the Continuing Resolution.
As individual funding increments reach the project office, recreation areas are being reopened gradually and as conditions allow. While specific reopening dates are not yet available, the District will continue to provide updates as timelines are confirmed.
For more information, please contact the Lake Seminole Project Office at (229) 662-2001.
