Each year, park rangers visit area schools to encourage water safety practices.  Most teachers request programs during the Spring, but they can be scheduled anytime throughout the year.

"Buddy Beaver," the Mobile District water safety mascot, visits local schools, day-cares, libraries, and clubs to teach children about water safety.  "Buddy Beaver" says, "Always wear your life jacket!"
