The Hurricane Evacuation Study Program is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  The program is designed to assist emergency management offices determine who should evacuate when a hurricane threatens and when they should leave.   A variety of tools and information is provided through these studies.
