RIVER JUNCTION LANDING

DESCRIPTION: Mostly dominated by a mixture of slash pine, longleaf pine, and oak trees. Those who wish to spend the night for early morning bird watching, a primitive campground with boat ramp, picnic tables, grills, restrooms and showers are available. Brochures and other recreation related information can be obtained at the Corps of Engineers Resource Management Office near the town of Chattahoochee, Florida. Be sure sure to ask the receptionist to see the  introductory video on the cultural and natural history of Lake Seminole.

WILDLIFE: Ospreys, bald eagles, egrets, herons, pine warblers, towhees, raccoons, and bobcats.

DIRECTIONS: From Chattahoochee, FL., turn at the traffic light adjacent to the car wash. Follow Booster Club Road for about 4 miles to River Junction.
