CHATTAHOOCHEE PARK

DESCRIPTION: Limestone bluffs, ravines, and woodlands provide habitat for a variety of species. Turkey Flight Overlook provides a sweeping view of Lake Seminole. Here you can spy on red-tailed hawks, ospreys and bald eagles riding the thermals over the shimmering waters of the lake. Turkey Flight Nature Trail is an easy 1/4 mile walk. Here you will find wildlife interpretive signs to guide you.  Benches and blue bird boxes are provided along the trail. A paved road with a pedestrian lane loops around the park. Shaded picnic tables with barbecue grills are also available in this well maintained corps park. 

WILDLIFE: Wild turkeys, armadillos, raccoons, bobcats, foxes, peregrine falcons, owls, deer, fox, woodpeckers, nuthatches and pine warblers.

DIRECTIONS: From the town of Chattahoochee FL., on highway 90 west,  turn right at the red-light that is adjacent to the car wash.  Follow directional signs on Booster Club Road for about 2.5 miles.
