Day Use Parks
on
Lake Seminole

General Information

The Corps maintains a number of day use parks. These areas are great for picnicking, swimming, sunning, cookouts, birthday parties, ball games, hiking or just relaxing in the great outdoors. Enjoy the natural beauty of the lake and both the Chattahoochee and the Flint Rivers. There are also several nearby towns that provide entertainment, shopping, and area history.

Recreational facilities available at day use parks include fishing areas, beaches, picnic tables, ball courts, playgrounds and shelters.

Lake Seminole day use parks on the Georgia side include: Chattahoochee Park, River Junction Landing, Faceville Landing Park, Hale's Landing, Reynoldsville Park, Cypress Pond Park, Fairchilds Park, and Desser Landing. On the Florida side: Woodruff Dam Fishing Area, and Westbank Overlook.

Though some day use parks include campgrounds, camping is allowed only in the designated areas. Day use visitors should not go into the campgrounds.
