All database files are compressed using the SAVE TO COMPRESSED feature found in the MCACES GOLD program and contain the extension *.bsd. Each compressed bsd file (or set of bsd files) also comes with a corresponding log file cgbackup.log. Click on each of the links to download both the compressed bsd file(s) and the log file. Since all log files are of this name, a separate directory is required for each downloaded bsd file(s) and its log file. The log file is required by the MCACES program to load the compressed bsd files. Once downloaded, use the LOAD FROM COMPRESSED option in MCACES to load the database.

Files other than MCACES databases are either available in their original formats or in the zipped format (*.zip). Zipped files will require the Winzip or PKzip uitility to extract. Return to Cost Engineering Data Download
