 Picnic Shelters

Picnic shelters are available at several parks on Allatoona Lake. These shelters are ideal for family reunions, birthday parties or company gatherings. (See the chart below.)

Reservations for shelters can be made in person at the Allatoona Operations Project Management Office or by telephone at (678)721-6700 beginning the first day of January.     2012 General Shelter Information

The season is from March 13 - October 23, 2011.  Reservation dates and locations are not transferable.  2012 Opening and Closing Hours

Reservation fees are charged to offset the cost of operating the shelters. Payment may be made by credit card, personal check or cash. Tentative reservations will not be accepted. All reservation fees are non-refundable. Payment of the reservation fee includes day use fees at selected parks.*

All shelters have dedicated grills, electrical outlets, lights, water fountains and water spigots. 
Restroom facilities are located nearby.

*NOTE: Day use fees are not charged to persons using the shelter if the shelter has been reserved and the fee paid.  If shelter is used on first-come, first served basis, a Day Use fee is charged to each vehicle.

**NOTE: Cooper Branch #1 is no longer reservable, it has been changed to first-come first-serve. However, be aware of limited parking.
