The RSM Program will host a webinar on SBAS on 22 March 2012.

The SBAS (Sediment Budget Analysis System) Toolbar for ArcMap 10 provides an interface between ArcGIS desktop software and a sediment budget algorithm to produce both micro and macro sediment budget layers. The toolbar calculates sediment gain or loss within littoral cells based on user identification of sediment sources, sinks, and flux, and it locates all results geospatially.

This webinar explains how to download and install the SBAS Toolbar in ArcMap 10, discusses each of the Toolbar tools, and demonstrates how to use these tools to draw and edit littoral cells and flux lines, enter data, identify littoral cell layer confidence, work with alternatives, and create micro and macro sediment budgets. Questions and comments are welcomed.
