RECREATION

The Mobile District manages more than 450 recreation areas located across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. At each of our project sites there are a wide variety of activities that the entire family can enjoy including camping, swimming, hunting, fishing, boating, hiking and biking.
A visit to Allatoona Lake in Georgia is well worth the trip with breathtaking beaches, 14 day-use parks and 576 campsites for public use. The project lake also features a variety of recreation facilities including ball fields, fishing jetties, picnic tables, horse-shoe pits, volleyball areas, and large picnic shelters. Bring the family and stay for the weekend!
