Camping

There are seven class-A campgrounds located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, each unique park providing for many memorable camping experiences. All campgrounds provide water and electric hookups, sanitary dump stations, handicap accessible sites and facilities, playgrounds and multi-use courts, as well as being convenient to boat ramps. Some have fish cleaning stations and sewer hookups. Each site has an impact pad, grill, fire ring, picnic tables and a lantern post. Campgrounds on the Tennessee-Tombigbee open at 6 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. and there are Park Attendants or Volunteer Park Hosts available for assistance.

Our campgrounds have a number of sites that may be reserved through the National Recreation Reservation System. Reservations for camping on the Tennessee-Tombigbee can be made from March 1 – October 31. First-come, first-serve sites are available year-round. The cost for different campsites range from $14 to $24 per night. Individuals with an America the Beautiful Senior Pass or Access Pass pay half price. For more information or to book a campsite browse through the campgrounds menu on the right-hand side of this page.
