The Project Management Office is responsible for all Civil Works activities along the Black Warrior-Tombigbee Waterway including the Locust Fork, Mulberry Branch, and the Alabama-Coosa Waterways.

The Project Management Office also has responsibility for the operation and maintenance of nine locks and dams and two hydro-electric generating plants found on the BW&T and Alabama waterways.

The project office is further divided into four regional site offices, which includes the Tuscaloosa, Demopolis, Alabama River Lakes (R.F. Henry), and Millers Ferry Site Offices. The four site offices provide site specific administration to navigation, hydro-electric generation and recreation management activities.
