MOBILE, Ala. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile District is scheduled to host an archery-only deer hunt for disabled hunters at the Allatoona Lake Project Dec. 19-20.

Hunting blinds will be provided throughout McKinney Campground. The use of each hunting blind will be by reservation only and limited to hunters permanently confined to a wheelchair or Purple Heart recipients. A non-hunting assistant may accompany each disabled hunter. Each hunter must possess a valid Georgia Big Game license.

Requests for reservations will be taken by phone or in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Oct. 17 through Nov. 04. The available limited spaces will be filled by lottery.
